The most commonly used vibrating screens are eccentric vibrating screen, inertial vibrating screen and self-centering vibrating screen.
(1) Eccentric vibrating screen.
The two ends of the screen box are supported on the spring, and the middle part is supported on the eccentric shaft, which is installed on the fixed frame. Relying on the rotation of the eccentric shaft, the sieve produces vibration. Eccentric vibrating screen produces strong vibration when working, which is unfavorable to the machinery and buildings, and has been rarely used in new plants.
(2) Inertia vibrating screen. The screen body and the shaft and drive pulley are all hanging on the spring. The vibration of the screen body is caused by the inertia force generated by the rotation of the two flywheels equipped with counterweights fixed on the shaft. Compared with the eccentric vibrating screen, the inertia vibrating screen equipment is simple and the vibration transmitted to the support is small. But the amplitude of vibration depends on the load, which affects the screening efficiency. Whether the inertial vibrating screen is seated or suspended, it is installed on the foundation or beam with an inclination angle of 15°~20°. In the past, the sintering plant used inertial vibrating screen to screen the melt, which is now mostly replaced by self-centering vibrating screen.
(3) self-centering vibrating screen self-centering vibrating screen work when the drive shaft centerline of the spatial position of its own to remain unchanged, so it is called self-centering vibrating screen. Self-centering vibrating screen consists of screen frame, screen body and transmission mechanism. It is roughly the same as the inertial vibrating screen, the difference is that the self-centering vibrating screen main shaft is eccentric. Its working principle is to rely on the rotation of the eccentric drive shaft to make the sieve produce up and down vibration, and the inertia force generated by the partial weights rotating with the shaft balances the inertia force generated by the up and down vibration of the sieve, so that the spatial position of the centerline of the eccentric drive shaft of the vibrating screen remains unchanged by itself. Because of overcoming the shortcomings of the first two vibrating screen in industrial production has been more widely used.
